Breast lifts at this practice vary by what each patient's anatomy and goals require. Some cases shown are full mastopexy alone. One case is a unilateral (one-sided) lift performed to correct asymmetry. One case combines a lift with reduction. One case involves a lift performed over existing silicone implants. The case labels above each photo describe the specific context for that patient.

Every incision in this gallery, regardless of the lift pattern used, is closed by hand in multiple layers, with attention to minimizing tension at the skin surface. The scar results visible in this gallery reflect that technique.

If you are considering a breast lift combined with augmentation: Dr. Racanelli typically stages these as separate procedures, lift first, augmentation second.
